The new racing entertainment centre features the latest in state-of-the-art, fully integrated, multi-purpose entertainment:
- Every race fan, whether seasoned or new to the sport, will enjoy the thrill of live horse racing and simulcast pari-mutuel wagering in the trackside lounge, simulcast lounge, paddock bar or outdoor terraces and apron.
- Slot players will enjoy the Las Vegas style gaming parlour.
- Guests will enjoy everything from a full service dining experience to a snack in the park in the various dining rooms, buffets, lounges and kiosks.
- Additional hospitality tent facilities will host groups and special event.
- The walking ring and saddling paddock will invite guests to participate in the pre race excitement of thoroughbred racing. Designed as a spacious garden-like amphitheatre, this area will also cater to non-race special events and evening entertainment.
Future expansion planning has been incorporated into the master-plan to enhance guest services including a 2,500 to 5,000 seat entertainment theatre, a 500 room hotel and conference centre, and expanded racing and gaming facilities.
With an indoor patron capacity of 2,650 and an outdoor patron capacity of 5,000 the 50,000 sq ft Racing Entertainment Centre will host a total of 7,650 guests.
